Vsar is located along the western coastline of Croatia in the Istrian peninsula. It is a small village that was built around a fishing port but now has a thriving tourism industry. In fact, the whole of Croatia is experiencing a boom in tourist influx thanks to the increased popularity of heritage sites such as Dubrovnik and Split. People who have explored these places are staying on to explore more of the country. This has led to a rediscovery of beautiful landscapes and interesting sites. Visitors are enjoying activities such as camping, diving, sailing, and even skydiving. There are three main campsites in Vrsar including Porto Sole, Naturist Park Koversada, and Valkanela.
